The concept of artificial intelligence often has negative connotations. Science fiction works also play a role in this. Such that, terminator robots that can destroy humankind have long been the antagonists of science fiction works. However, in fact, artificial intelligence technologies have little to do with science fiction products. In reality, artificial intelligence is a technology that is found in most of the products we use in our daily lives, from smart vacuum cleaners to navigation systems. As a result of technological developments, today, artificial intelligence has become capable of producing intellectual products. In spite of this, there is no provision in the Law on Intellectual and Artistic Works regarding the legal fate of said intellectual products. Considering the speed of technological developments, it will be inevitable that regulations on artificial intelligence will become a current issue in the near future. The most fundamental problem that needs to be resolved in the legislative amendment will constitute the legal nature of the intellectual products created by artificial intelligence, and ownership issues on such products. The purpose of this study is to first define the concept of artificial intelligence and then to contribute to future legislative amendments by analyzing the legal problems related to the intellectual products created by artificial intelligence and proposing solutions.
